Terms & Conditions for Students (Effective from 01/08/2023)

Registration

The motto of VaaGa Academy is to connect Tutors and Students from all over the country. To have a fruitful learning session Students should adhere to certain T&C.

You must register on the platform and set up your account. You must:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Update your information with any new information that may affect the operation of your account.
• Do not use false identities or impersonate any other person or use another account that you are not authorized to use.
• You are solely responsible for safeguarding and maintaining the confidentiality of your account and personal information.
• Exercise caution and do not disclose information to anyone.

 

Rules and policies

VaaGa Academy reserves the right to evaluate your compliance with Academy’s rules and policies.

• In case the tutor has violated the law or is defrauding, threatening or otherwise endangering anyone, you should immediately inform Team VaaGa for assistance.
• You will respect the privacy of users and will not engage in any unwelcome, rude or abusive communications or in any other disrespectful manner.
• In case of a “NO SHOW” for any previously scheduled 1-to-1 class or group class, the class will be considered completed / done. For group class, video recording will be uploaded on the dashboard for reference.
• Student have to inform in advance in case of any emergency or non-availability so that class can be rescheduled as per the availability of Tutor. Reschedule request will only be considered in case of emergency and cannot exceed twice a month. More than 2 times the request will not be accepted.
• Students are not allowed to copy, share, print the any content available on webpage. The content is solely for personal use only, and to refer for later reference.
• Termination of Student Account will be via the ‘Contact Us’ form on the website or by e-mail on info@vaagaacademy.com
• VaaGa Academy reserves the right to modify/ add/ remove any condition at any time by posting a new version on our webpage www.vaagaacademy.com.
• All DISPUTES, IF ANY, ARE TO BE SETTLED UNDER HARYANA JURISDICTION ONLY.

 

 

Appearance and Setting

• The background of the session should be a simple/ plain wall or light in color and located in a brightly lit environment.
• Lighting shall be bright and natural enough for Tutor to see and view the student clearly.
• There should be no loud noise or other sounds that could distract Tutor or Student and affect the quality of the session. Session can be utilised fully without any background noise, including, people, telephones, music, or other distracting sounds.
• VaaGa Academy offers an excellent and enriching live, online learning environment, and user expects to be able to see and hear clearly. Strong and stable Wi-fi connection is recommended.
• Enter the classroom as per assigned batch a minimum of 5 minutes prior to session start time.

 

Tuition

• VaaGa Academy provides personalised 1-to-1 session and interactive Group sessions with maximum of 1:5 ratio.

 

Pricing, Fees and Billing

• Tuition Fees applicable for registered courses are payable in advance.
• All Fee Payments must be made through the payment gateway provided on the webpage of VaaGa Academy. DO NOT engage in any kind of direct tuition fee payment to the Tutor.
• All Tuition sessions must be used within 2 months of making the payment for the registered sessions, otherwise, VaaGa Academy reserves the right to retain the fees paid for the sessions/ month without providing the service after this 2-month period.
• Students should make monthly payments before end of the subscription period. Otherwise, the learning sessions will be put on hold until fees for the period is not paid.
• Once your transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation email summarizing your payment details.
• The invoiced any payment history will be visible on student dashboard.

 

Communications

• You provide your consent to receive communications from VaaGa Academy via E-mail or SMS. You agree that all agreements, notices and other communications that we provide to you digitally satisfy all the legal requirements.
• You provide your consent that VaaGa Academy may use your registered mobile number to send Transaction related SMS to you, irrespective of having DND services activated on your mobile.
