Terms & Conditions for Tutors (Effective from 01/08/2023)

The motto of VaaGa Academy is to connect Tutors and Students from all over the country. To have a fruitful teaching sessions Tutors should adhere to certain T&C.

Registration

You must register on the platform and set up your account. You must:

• The Tutor must have a personal laptop and stable internet connection for an effective teaching experience.
• Provide accurate and complete information. Update your Account with any new information that may affect the operation of your account.
• Do not use false identities or impersonate any other person or use another account that you are not authorized to use.
• You are solely responsible for safeguarding and maintaining the confidentiality of your account and personal information.
• Do not permit, enable, introduce or facilitate other persons to participate in providing tutoring services from your account.
• Exercise caution and do not disclose personal information to the users of the platform.

 

Documentation

Tutors have to upload copy of following Documents

• One coloured passport size photograph
• Any Photo ID proof (Voter ID / Passport / Aadhar Card/ Driving Licence)
• Highest educational qualification

 

Rules and Policies

VaaGa Academy reserves the right to evaluate your compliance with Academy’s rules and policies.

• In case a tutor has violated the law or is defrauding, threatening or otherwise endangering anyone, you should immediately inform Team VaaGa for assistance.
• You will respect the privacy of users and will not engage in any unwelcome, rude or abusive communications or in any other disrespectful manner.
• Never use the teaching platform to invite a user to meet in person or provide the Services to a user of the Academy outside of the platform.
• In case of being late, unfinished sessions, or a “no show” for any previously scheduled class, Tutor has to compensate and give extra class at the earliest as per the availability at no extra tuition fees. In case of any emergency inform the Admin in advance to reschedule the session.
• “Your Content” shall mean any presentation, audio, video, images or other material you choose to upload on the platform must be your own and must not be invading any third-party’s rights. VaaGa Academy reserves the right to remove any of ‘Your Content’ from the dashboard at any time without notice.
• VaaGa Academy reserves the right to modify/ add/ remove any condition at any time by posting a new version on our webpage www.vaagaacademy.com.
• By filling the Tutor Registration form you agree to adhere to all the Terms and Conditions of by VaaGa Academy.
• You acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the confidentiality and proprietary information agreement.
• You acknowledge and agree that you have reviewed and agree to the VaaGa Academy’s Privacy Policy, which is available at http://www.vaagaacademy.com/privacy.
• VaaGa Academy reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to remove or disable access and terminate Tutors account who has violated any of terms and conditions.
• VaaGa Academy have the right to de-activate your account at any time without notice, in case of breach of any of the terms of this Agreement.
• You may terminate the Agreement at any time at your sole discretion upon providing 10 calendar days’ notice via E-mail at info@vaagaacademy.com. Upon receipt of such notice VaaGa Academy will end any kind association and de-activate the tutor account. Any outstanding/ due tuition fees will be settled post the completion of notice period.
• All DISPUTES, IF ANY, ARE TO BE SETTLED UNDER HARYANA JURISDICTION ONLY.

 

Appearance and Setting

• The appearance of the Tutor during the session is to reflect the professional nature and quality of the services VaaGa Academy offers to our students.
• The background for the session should be a simple/ plain wall or light in color and located in a brightly lit environment.
• Lighting shall be bright and natural enough for students to see and view Tutor clearly.
• There should be no loud noise or other sounds that could distract Tutor or Student and affect the quality of the session. Session can be effective without any background noise, including, people, telephones, music, or other distracting sounds.
• VaaGa Academy offers an excellent and enriching live, online teaching environment, and user expects to be able to see and hear clearly. Strong and stable internet connection is recommended.
• Enter the classroom as per assigned batch and time, minimum 5 minutes prior to session start time.

 

Tutor Fee

Fees payable with respect to your services:

• Fees will be paid on the basis of course completion milestones as agreed i.e. at every 20% of the total course progress.
• VaaGa Academy will finalize the due tuition fee on the basis of course completion and it will be shown in Tutor dashboard. Demo class is included in the course plan.
• The payment will be transferred to the Tutors registered account at the end of the month or whenever requested.
• Fees includes any applicable taxes for which you may be responsible.

 

Communication

• You provide your consent to receive communications from VaaGa Academy via E-mail or SMS. You agree that all agreements, notices and other communications that we provide to you digitally satisfy all the legal requirements.
• You provide your consent that VaaGa Academy may use your registered mobile number to send SMS to you, irrespective of having DND services activated on your mobile.
